Snow Day

We capitalized on the first real snow we got this year by making some snow ice cream (so easy and surprisingly tasty!) and play-play-playing in it as much as their little fingers and toes could stand. The neighborhood boys were over most of that weekend playing on the hill in our backyard, I love when they come a knocking and ask "can Reagan and his Dad come out and play?"

Snow Ice Cream
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
10 cups clean (does that need to be specified?) fresh snow
1/4 cup milk

Combine all ingredients. Eat immediately (I noticed it melts quicker than regular ice cream) or store in an airtight container in the freezer.

Don't you love how parents are all "but I will force this childhood memory on you whether you like it or not!"

Aaaaaaand he's done.
