Chicago with the Brendsel's

Zach and I tagged along to Adam and Jenni's 10th Anniversary trip to Chicago. It was nice to go somewhere close but do things we wouldn't have done if we had all the kids with us. We ate really good food, biked along the shoreline, did an escape room, went to Wrigleyville during the Cubs Cards game, and my hands down favorite... saw Hamilton.

So the plan was for me to drive up with the three little kids, Zach and Reagan to do his jr high baseball tryouts and then come up after. He ended up making the team and the two of them never came! We had a great time with Debbie, Evan, Dad, Gayle and Grandma and Grandpa though (we still missed them a lot.)

After the 10 hour drive, Debbie greeted me with a beverage in the driveway.
