Update

Some fabulous news....

Zach tore his meniscus again, the same knee as he did 2 years ago. So the plan right now is for him to go in for surgery ASAP the 23rd, if there is a cancellation he'll have it repaired sooner. The good news is that the doctor is confident that by doing it as soon as he can, and before it gets any worse, than he'll be back in shape by the time the spring season starts. He's already started on doing "prehab" and then of course he'll do rehab as well. You can also look at it like, well he's already had this same thing done before so we know what to expect and how to get back into condition. Last time, he had the surgery in December and was able to be back in time for the spring trip so we are kind of grateful that this came about a little earlier in the year. Bad news is... well, it's his senior year and who wants to have surgery their senior year? So, needless to say, that's kind of a bummer.

I'll keep you updated on how it all goes, and it's arthroscopic so I promise there won't be any gory post-surgery photos.
