Before the Blog vol. 1: Christmas in July!!

I thought I'd gift you with some of our old school Christmas card pictures. Here are some of my faves....

Drew's entire outfit. Those pants look velvet.
This year we had a few different options. The VonTrapp look...
The one where I completely disregarded the fact that I was wearing a dress
One thing I do remember about my childhood with Drew was that he had a permanent Kool-Aid ring around his mouth. I'm liking the turtle neck/v neck sweater combo thing my dad has going on. Cousin Eddie anyone??
And I believe the one we actually sent out... I'm working on my 3rd chin here.
I can't get this to flip around darnit. But those are Jelly Beans. And we are happy...
But obviously we're not in this one.
This wasn't a Christmas card picture but it was from Christmas. I just wanted to laugh at the hat I was wearing. hahahahahhaha

ThE eNd! Stay tuned for more "Before the Blog" posts, whenever I feel like it.

yes, Drew's pants are velvet -- they are actually velvet knickers with a matching velvet bowtie. He was lookin GooooOOOODDDD! I still have them if Reagan would like to borrow them for next Christmsas' photo ops.

You were very proud of that hat at the time -- and your fashion sense.....

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Future post suggestion -- first day of school pics through the years.

Love, Mom M

You always surprise me, make me laugh, confuse me, and keep me interested, I am so happy I get to do life with you. I love you

I cannot even describe how much I love those pictures! I'm pretty sure that your dad's outfit was legendary, you two kids were too precious. I am now contemplating taking lots of awkward family pictures every Christmas with my kids just so that in years to come we can have some good laughs.

I didn;t think it was possible to love you and your humor more, but you just outdid yourself. I cannot be thankful enough that you live here and I do to!
