First week of December happenings

Zach is definitely better at imagining up new games than I am. The other day they spent the longest time just playing with the car seat.
One thing they love doing together is making "forts", it is totally worth tearing a whole room apart because they have so much fun and it lasts for such a long time.

The other night we went to one of the school's basketball games. Truthfully, it was only because it was the night they were announcing prize winners and you had to be present to win. We didn't win but we still had a good time and saw a lot of friends.

This is Danielle, she has been awesome to us this semester. She has watched Reagan almost every Monday and Friday mornings for a couple hours while we both had class. Reagan <3s>
I thought Z and Reagan looked so cute that night all matchy matchy.
Friday was Zach's Dad, Chris' birthday. They came up Saturday so we could celebrate! They also brought up our Christmas decorations and one of our favorite birthday presents... a FREEZER that my parents got us. Ahhhh and stocked with browned hamburger and other fun stuff-- how awesome of a present is that?! Definitely not something most 22 year olds would be ecstatic about but we sure were. It was also really nice to spend the day with Chris & Kristi, go out to eat and start putting up some Christmas decorations together.

We put all the finishing touches on our Christmas tree last night! Reagan was really into it, I don't think I realized how tempting a tree full of ornaments is. It really is just a whole lighted display of toys you can only get out once a year but aren't allowed to touch/take off the tree. We're working on it, but it's going to a battle until the newness wears off!
We got a box of candy canes specifically for him to put up since they aren't fragile like the other ornaments. This morning when I woke up, I was automatically suspicious because I hadn't heard him wake up yet. I went to his room... he wasn't in there. I turned the corner into the family room and caught him red handed, eating the candy canes off the tree!

My mom sent us up a couple gifts to open early- they turned out to be ornaments to put on our tree. I L-O-V-E the "W" one she got us!
This is the week Zach has his finals therefore the last week in his fall semester and then he will only have ONE SEMESTER LEFT OF COLLEGE. woot woot! My finals are next week and unfortunately I'll only be 1/3 of the way through with my schoolin'- not nearly as exciting.

Glad you like the "W" -- thought it looked like you :)!

The carseat games crack me up! If only he thought it was that much fun when it was in the car......

love the candy cane story. he's a smart (and sneaky) kid!

Glad you guys like freezer - it was fun shopping for all the stuff. But I did it on the same day as I was doing Thanksgiving dinner shopping, AND major food shopping for us. I had it all in 1 cart, but the bagger boys took 3...and were having a contest to guess how much my $$ total would be.
