Nifty 50!!

My wonderful Aunt Debbie turns 50 today!!!!!!!!!! This day in 1958, Grandma Meiner was giving birth to a beautiful, "big" baby girl. (Later on you'll see that one of her best birthday gifts was on her 3rd birthday.) Anyone who knows her would be able to attest to the fact that she is constantly offering her assistance whenever she thinks you may be in need. Let see, she basically was the second wedding planner in my wedding she was so on top of helping me find things at the best price so I could have my "perfect day." Judging the girls' make-over contests...Moving into our first apartment... yeah, she was there the whole night. Picking us up from the airport in a wicked snowstorm after we had had the airplane ride from you know where after Christmas... Zach had just had surgery and a trip to the emergency room the night before and Reagan had peed and crapped through all of his outfits and I was sweating (no, glowing) so bad from wrestling Reagan the whole plane ride. It was like seeing the face on an Angel was she rescued us from the gate. Did I also mention that she stayed up half the night making about, oh.. 7 egg casserole's for Drew's Graduation party??? And those are just the quickest five I pulled off the top of my head, I am sure everyone she knows have a story of how much Debbie has helped them in some way.

I think one of the characteristics that makes her so helpful is that she is so ORGANIZED. Man this women you need to look up to, her house is always spotless and she is successful at one thing I am for sure not... throwing away things you don

't need! This makes her an excellent and gracious host too. I also need to throw in that she is hilarious, very blunt... but in a nice way? And it always cracks me up.

This year to celebrate her big day we threw her a surprise dinner at CJ's. Unfortunately I forgot my camera and with all of the commotion these are the only two pictures I got from it... 

In order for you to fully appreciate this picture you need to know that there is also a hat on the back of his head making that 5 hats... so yeah, now you're jealous.

What 6 year old orders cottage cheese instead of french fries? Weirdo.
