Favorite genre of books is historical non fiction. Or "informational." Library day is always interesting to see whatever "thrilling" (opposite) book he brings home. Example; "History of WWII Naval Weaponry."
Would like to be in the Air Force one day, after his pitching career for the Cubs wraps up.
He is weirdly proud that he has the youngest parents in his class, I think he took us turning 30 harder than we did.
His favorite song is "Church Clap" by Lecrae.
We are fighting to get him over 70 lbs. The kid is a string bean.
He doesn't like peanut butter but loves all things spicy, cured meat and mint flavored anything.
He is truly the best big brother we could have ever asked for. He is helpful and thoughtful, he plays whatever game they ask him to and never ever complains about not getting more attention.
"Oh my gosh I just realized something... are we drinking cows pee???"
He legit thought the F in "dropping the F-bomb" stood for "forgiveness." Later he admitted he found out what it meant because he looked it up in the dictionary at school.
"I had a dream last night that we found another Dalmation and got to keep it. Molly loved playing with him! But they were FIXED. So they just loved playing together." wink wink
"If Josie had a super power what do you think it'd be? Cuteness? No, it'd be Chinese! You know because she kind of looks like that with her eyes. You know? Oh wait. No. I didn't mean that. . . I meant, Japan-ish."

His 10 year old boy dreams came true this year when he opened his very own BB gun. We also let him get his own iMessage account to text and faceTime people. To our pleasant surprise he could care less about it, score (for this temporary moment while it lasts.)
